I was always curious about rowing so when I came to Worcester I thought that I would give it a go, and promptly signed up for the UWRC. After being out on the water there was no going back for me, as the experience of rowing as part of a crew is unlike anything I have known.  I have the honour of holding an unofficial record for being the only person to capsize one of the ‘uncapsizable’ boats, something I’m reminded of from time to time. Since representing the University of Worcester Rowing Club I have had the privilege of competing at the British Indoor Rowing Championships, as well as more recently the British University Championships
I’m really excited about the World Record Attempt as it’s not often you get to be a part of something like this, especially when it’s for such a worthy cause.
