About The Event
This event, simply, is a challenge of human endurance. Two teams, male and female, will row for 24 hours a day for more than a week – attempting to set new World Records for the Longest Continual Row. The women’s team, as part of their effort, will also look to set a new World Record for the fastest Million Metres.
Between the two teams, they will cover more than 5,000km, taking over half a million strokes. This load will be shared by the 10 people on each team – who between them cannot allow the rowing machine to stop, even for a second, or the attempt will fail.
